Organic and Healthy Restaurants in Marbella
UPDATED July 2018
In Marbella there are many healthy food restaurants and several are organic, as you know i only write about the organic restaurants in Marbella I have tried, so here they are:
Lagom Café by Rachel´s – Puente Romano Tenis Club.
Speaking of organic restaurants in Marbella, I had to include Lagom! Cafe. Although is not exclusively organic, it is so special that it deserves to be part of this list and, yes, it offers organic food.
It is the current version of the typical cafeteria, but where you can clearly see the hand of Rachel’s, the creator of Rachel’s Eco Love organic food restaurant, in the environment, in the healthy and appetizing menu , in the presentation of the dishes, in the concept, the decoration. It hooked me!
The place is beautiful, it has that perfect point of coolness but not too much , it invites you to go and enjoy there its food and its ambience at any time. Friendly staff, VERY nice food and despite being in a place like Puente Romano (mega cool) you are in a Tennis Club, so you can dress the ultimate boho beach look, working style or a sporty ponytail , shorts and sneakers that will be perfect.
That’s Lagom! Café, a place where at any time, open from 8 am to 10 pm, any day of the week you can have something more or less healthy as you wish and enjoy the views of the tennis courts in a relaxed atmosphere.
Breakfasts, lunches, juices, snacks, dinners, for champions, for athletes, for lovers of healthy and organic life, for those who take care of the line, for hungry, for the elderly, for children, …
They have a lot of options, organic, vegan, gluten free, sugar free, dairy free, all healthy and delicious.
Open every day from 8 AM to 10 PM.
Puente Romano Tennis Club
Origen – San Pedro (Pedestrian road)
It’s a real organic restaurant and they are very concerned with the origin of the products they offer. In addition to serving organic food, they sell products to take home, organic fruits and vegetables, superfoods, very special teas, konjac, gluten free, etc. They are building an important local community, raising awareness and spreading concern about healthy eating, they organize courses, workshops, and many other related activities.
As real mexicans they offer healthy mexican food too, great place to enjoy an organic meal in a environment aware of organic life.

Organic Market Food – in front of Hotel Marbella Club
Although it was opened in 2014, it is already a classic spot in Marbella. It is a restaurant where they have taken great care of all the details, decoration, presentation of food, … not for nothing the owner has a long experience in the world of hospitality.
The waiters are trained and informed about the different menus and options of food, which is very nice besides being healthy. You can buy everything to go or to take there. Food is very nice.
Hustle n´Flow – San Pedro
One of the last to reach the healthy panorama of the Marbella area.
The place is like the living room of my house and I do not say it for nothing, two times that I have been there lately they have had to throw me of the sofa (ask me to leave i mean hahaha) because they were going to close.
It’s one of those places where you order at the bar and they bring it to the table, my friends say it’s like a Starbucks but with healthy mood and they are right.
Açai bowls, juices, smoothies, salads, energy balls, nice snacks and all kinds of healthy experiments in dishes and juices of the day.
It is a place that I recommend for breakfast, brunch or healthy lunch in the San Pedro area, it is on Avenida de Andalucía, 1 corner of Calle Lagasca.
Open only in the mornings. Breakfast, brunch and lunch.
Avenida Andalucia, #1
at the corner with Lagasca street
San Pedro Alcantara
Dezentral – Nueva Andalucia
Opened in 2013. It is one of the first organic restaurants in the Marbella area. The food is very good, but I have to say that the service is superb, the waitresses are charming, i don´t know where they are from but they speak perfect Spanish and English and i am sure that some other language too. The place is super cozy in both summer and winter, it’s that kind of place that you go to have breakfast and you can stay there for the whole day without realizing that it is already 6 pm and you have to leave because they are going to close.
Another thing that fascinates me about Dezentral is that they are totally Dog Friendly, not only they give every dog that comes to their place a bowl of water, they also have snacks for them. People know it and go there with their dogs. All dog sizes allowed, I love it!!!
Closed on Sundays.

Rachel´s Eco Love Organic – Puente Romano Hotel & Corte Ingles – Updated 2018 –
It is in a privileged location, with a wonderful view of a pool surrounded by the wonderful gardens of the Puente Romano Hotel . If you are a non dairy, gluten free or just healthy breakfast lover or looking for a vegan meal with a fresh juice, without anyone bothering you, in a very quiet environment, on the edge of a small swimming pool, a perfect place to relax and / or take a lot of instagram pics , RACHEL´S is your place.
They also have a store that sells some organic and healthy food, cosmetics, magazines, newspapers and beach basics (flip-flops, sarongs and baskets).
There are two different Rachel´s in Marbella one is in the lovely Puente Romano and the other restaurant, smaller but with the same delicious menu and very convenient if you are in Puerto Banus, is located inside the Corte Ingles, in the Gourmet Experience on the top floor.

Organic with Love – OWL
A cute organic concept store-restaurant, all the dishes have been designed by the owner, Oxana. They also offer cooking classes taught in English to children and adults.
They use mostly local products, offering dish of the day cooked with organic products, (7,90 € /tomato soup and 11,90 €/ beef stew).
They sell to take home fruits, vegetables, lentils, chickpeas and even organic olive oil.
They are growing in selling organic cotton clothes some in their location in Nueva Alcantara in San Pedro but much more in their bigger place inside El Corte Inglés El Capricho, Marbella.
My recomendation about this place: it is a good place to have a natural juice while if you have kids, let them play in their many children activities.
